Get to know one of our incredible and hardworking Warehouse Stockers, Vince Cloud! Not only is he dedicated to his job, but he has a contagiously fun personality and never meets a stranger. Vince recently was voted as one of the 2019 Most Valuable Employee (MVE) Winners in the Stocking Department. Q & A with Vince Cloud
What do you love most about what you do and about working at FSIoffice in general?
What I love most about working at FSIoffice is the environment. FSI offers a great working environment that makes coming to work everyday pleasurable.
Tell us about your job position and some of your typical work tasks.
I am a Stocker. My job consists of, but is not limited to, stocking product on the shelves and making sure I have a clean work environment for the next crew.
What has been your favorite project or task at FSIoffice?
My favorite project or task since I have been at FSIoffice has been working the overstock system. I choose this because often times it can be challenging, and I love to take on new challenges.
Before working at FSI, what was the most unusual or interesting job you have had?
Prior to working at FSI, the most unusual or interesting job I worked was working with a mortician.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you “grow up”?
When I was a child, I always wanted to be a pro athlete. They were like my superheros.
What is on your bucket list to do OR name some thing(s) on your bucket list that you have done?
One thing on my bucket list is to go skydiving. It’s just something I have to do.
What is your favorite thing to do in the wonderful city of Charlotte?
One of my favorite things to do in Charlotte is to spend time with my family and friends and play basketball.
Who is your favorite musician/musical group?
My favorite musician would have to be J Cole, but my favorite musical group would have to be The Temptations.
What are some of your favorite TV shows, movies, and/or books?
My favorite TV show is Martin, and my favorite movie definitely would have to be Friday.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be ribs and macaroni and cheese with banana pudding.
What are some of your favorite activities and interests outside of work?
Some of my favorite activities outside of work are playing basketball, hanging with friends, shopping and definitely traveling.
What’s a miscellaneous fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me is that I’m a very outgoing and energetic person. I pretty much can have a conversation with anyone, regardless or not if I know you. I’m also very competitive and enjoy competition.
