This week we are highlighting Judy Baucom who works in our Furniture department as a buyer. Judy’s broad knowledge base of furniture makes her an asset to our family. Keep reading to get to know Judy more.
What do you love most about what you do and about working at FSIoffice in general?
The variety of things I do day-to-day. FSIoffice is like my second family.
Tell us about your job position and some of your typical work tasks.
I am a Furniture buyer in the Furniture Department. I mainly handle Government Projects. I place the orders with the vendors, work with the vendors and sales reps with any issues and keep the information updated in DDMS. I follow the orders from start to finish.
What is your favorite thing to do in Charlotte?
We enjoy going to outdoor concerts and festivals.
What is a fun fact about you that we may not know?
I was in Purchasing at previous companies before I came to work at FSI. I bought all of my office supplies from FSI.
What are your biggest interests outside of work?
My family, especially my 3 grandchildren, and my church.

If you could visit anywhere in the world for free, where would you go? Tell us why
Hawaii! I have had several family members that have visited there and talk about how beautiful it is.
