This month we want to highlight Jeff Boswell. Jeff has worked at FSIoffice for ten years as a Furniture Design Specialist. His job entails arriving at the office bright and early, designing layouts of offices for customers and collaborates with about 18 to 20 of FSI’s finest sales representatives. A typical work day for Jeff entails going to multiple sites to measure, consult on customer needs and sell what we offer. Jeff also dips his toes in the installation process of our products. Jeff’s favorite part of his job is meeting new and different people everyday and really enjoyed visiting HON in Muscatine with some of our sales representatives.
Jeff is originally from eastern North Carolina and has a beautiful family. Jeff and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 29 fabulous years. They have two sons, Allen and Taylor, who are both in law enforcement. Their family is extended with three happy dogs. Dorie is a rescue and she is a Cattle dog Basset Hound mix, Belle and Daisy are Beagles.
When Jeff isn’t working, you can find him outside hunting or training for a 5k. Jeff and Debbie try to run at least one 5k a month. They are quite a competitive couple by placing above the younger generation and winning out of their age group in many races they compete in. Jeff has completed the Charlotte Observer Marathon in 4 hours and 5 minutes and recently finished the Fellowship of the Idiots (19.7 miles) in 3 hours and 30 minutes. WOW!!
Jeff has several favorite movies, Open Range, Sandlot, Facing The Giants, and Fireproof. He doesn’t really have a favorite food because he likes lots of different things, just as long that it’s healthy. His hidden talents include being a handle man and finding solutions to problems that others can’t solve.
We asked Jeff a couple of entertaining questions to get to know him a little better.
If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would you be?
“This is tough because I love my life. I just wish I had the means to be able to help more people when they are down on their luck.”
What is one thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
“This is also tough, but a place at the beach where I could watch the sun rise every morning would be pretty awesome.”
As you can tell, Jeff has a big heart and cares deeply about others. Jeff has been a huge part of our FSI family and we can’t wait to see what he can accomplish in the years to come. We are so blessed to have Jeff on our FSI team!
