FSI Highlight- Stephen Parker


Here at FSIoffice we begin our new month by introducing you to Stephen Parker. Stephen began his career at FSIoffice in December of 2013. Stephen obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in History and a minor in Marketing from Pensacola Christian College. Also, he earned his MBA from Appalachian State.  He is our Purchasing Analyst with responsibilities including forecasting and buying stocked items to sourcing bid requests. His favorite part of his job is breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces and solving them. His background ranges from construction work to sales.

Stephen is the second oldest of eight children and grew up in Starksboro, Vermont. He has been married to his lovely wife, Kellie for four years and they recently bought their first home. Currently, they are looking to fill their home with a German Shepard. If you’re ever looking for a good book to read Stephen is your guy for recommendations. During his downtime, Stephen enjoys a good book from one of his many favorite authors; Michael Lewis, Stephen Ambrose, Larry Corriea, and JRR Tolkien.

Aside from reading, Stephen enjoys traveling and is planning to visit central Europe in the near future. He has traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Canada. During his time in Puerto Rico, he participated in a mission trip with his church. Stephen is a very active member of his church with his involvement ranging from singing in the choir to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.

There are few unique facts that you might not know about Stephen. For instance, Stephen’s nickname is Spiderman Junior because his dad is Peter Parker. Also, Stephen and Kellie recently completed their first 5K at the Warrior Dash. His favorite meal is anything involving steak.

Stephen is a very kind, smart and professional member of our team who does whatever is needed of him. He is a hard-worker and his friendly face is a joy every day. FSIoffice is blessed to have him as part of our team and we look forward to working with Stephen for many more years.
